National dissemination action of the PAFSE Project to School Groups and Live Science Clubs
On November 9, 2023, a nationwide publicity campaign for the PAFSE Project was carried out in Portugal, intended to School Groups and Live Science Clubs. This action, which was co-organized by the General Directorate of Education, was attended by 105 participants.
This publicity event featured the general presentation of the PAFSE Project by the National School of Public Health of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (leader of the consortium), as well as the presentation of educational scenarios by the remaining national partners of the project, namely, the University of Minho (UM), the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL), the Institute of Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC), and the Portuguese Road Prevention (PRP).
The session was very participatory and captured great interest on the part of the participants, namely coordinators of live science clubs and directors of school groups. We increased the reach of the project in geographical terms and the possibilities of implementing educational scenarios in more schools, with the project members providing the necessary clarifications for the involvement of new teachers and students in the project.
