PAFSE Azores Cluster, recently formed, develops science education activities!
Expolab – Ciência Viva Science Centre – is collaborating in the implementation of the educational scenario under the topic “Sustainable Development Goals” and organized a science education activity with students at Domingos Rebelo Secondary School. During the activity, students explored how scientific knowledge is relevant to good health and well-being (SDG 3) and the other Sustainable Development Goals. Real and inspiring stories were presented, starting with the visualisation of an environmental documentary.
The analysis of real and concrete scenarios allows students to find tangible solutions and is a way of promoting a more active dialogue on the different themes of the film, namely: Decent Work (SDG 8), Sustainable Consumption and Production (SDG 12) Climate Action (SDG 13) and Protecting Life on Land (SDG 15).
