PAFSE Advisory Boards

Advisory Committee (AC)

The Advisory Committee will give advice on different issues such as sustainable development, employment, education, STEM, public health, social inclusion, innovation, national policies, citizenship, development policies and other EU external policy. Public health and science education challenges will be particularly explored in relation to the sustainable development goals (SDGs). The composition of the AC will assure the presence of the views of relevant policy makers, social and political groups, civil society, and also country governance structures, such as Ministries of Health, Science, Technology, Education, National Directorates for Education, National Directorates for Health and specific bodies devoted to the promotion of science education such as the National Network of Ciência Viva Centres and Ciência Viva School Clubs Networks. These stakeholders will provide scientific insights throughout the project about particular actions that can contribute to the discussion of how to turn the scientific knowledge resulting from PAFSE into policy-relevant recommendations. Other relevant groups will be represented at this forum, such as parents, teachers, non-governmental organizations and particularly vulnerable groups.
