Working meeting with the Directorate of Secondary Education of Arta
In the framework of the European Project HORIZON 2020 “Partnerships for Science Education – PAFSE” today, 31/10/2022, the scientific responsible of the Project for the University of Ioannina Professor Anastasios Mikropoulos accompanied by members of the Research Team of the University of Ioannina, met with officers of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Arta, Principals and Biology and Chemistry teachers of the 2nd, 3rd and 5th High Schools of Arta.
The Directorate of Secondary Education of Arta, with its Director Mrs. Paraskevi Hambilomatis, is a member of the PAFSE stakeholders for the University of Ioannina.
The 2nd, 3rd and 5th High Schools of Arta are the three school units of the Prefecture of Arta, which are part of a set of pilot High Schools in Greece, which will enact the proposed educational scenarios, which will be communicated at a European level in the next phase of the project. Afterwards, cross-curricular educational events will be held, focusing on the topic of their choice and aiming to disseminate the results and experiences that will arise, to the wider educational community and to society as a whole.
